Final Musings

My favorite part of this exercise was the podcasts. Though I knew of them, I never utilized the podcasts. Now it is something I do regularly. So, in a sense, it has changed my daily routine. The one unexpected outcome, in a sense, was the reminder that technology is constantly changing and improving. That said I would happily participate in another program like this.

Love biblio.com. Though I knew about it, this exercise reminds me to use it more often. And there were so many sites I never heard of! Mango for instance. Too bad so many come with a fee.

If you have an ipod or computer speakers, podcasts are a great alternative to radio format. It is basically a customized form of programming so that you can listen to your favorite talk shows or music anytime you want.

Ok. Found something somewhat work-related. You Tube is awesome. Always thought so. Everything is out there. Great way to glimpse the world, especially for places I'm unlikey to go - including other libraries in far away places. Also great wat to see the past - i.e. old talk shows from the 50's throught the 90's. Seems everything not violating a copyright law is on You Tube!
